So recently I’ve been interning at a oil distribution company. I’m mainly doing lab work but occasionally when there’s no work in the lab, they send me off with sales people to meet with clients. So far I’ve met with three out of the four salespeople they had and they’ve taken me to meet a few of their clients in their X5 x50i, Manual Ecoboost Mustang and Manual last gen. 335i.
The last sales guy apparently has a V6 Challenger. But then the receptionist drives a decently modded Brown Tacoma with a European front plate and there’s also a 6 series GC and a lifted Silverado in the lot.
Maybe pictures in the future but for now I only have a picture of my blue GX next to another person’s black GX and that’s too boring for Oppositelock.

If you’re good in “Sales” the world is yours.
It takes a special personality though.

My grandfather started digging ditches in the Southern California oil fields for Gilmore Oil in the 1920's. He worked his way up to the head of oil field production, but decided he wanted to be in sales. Mr. Gilmore said he first had to prove he could handle a route, and drive a tanker truck. So, he took a 50% pay cut and drove a gasoline tanker truck for a year, and then moved into sales. He worked in gasoline sales until he was 87, long after the SoCal oil fields had dried up.

Yeah I was going to qualify that similarly. For every good salesperson, there are 10 struggling with a 20k base that are going to get fired within a month or two...
